A few of us have joined together to build the next climbers' gym. We're a small but highly motivated group of local climbers who want to build a gym where folks can hone their skills as well as socialize. We want to create a welcoming, community atmosphere that meets the needs of our local climbing friends.
Thank you to everyone who took our survey! The survey is now closed and we got LOTS of great responses. We're already processing the results and moving forward to incorporate as many of your ideas as we can to create your next climbing gym. If you have additional comments, please contact us at email@example.com
Congratulations to our two raffle winners! Krystle Smith and Steven Myers received $50 gift cards to Great Outdoor Provision Co and REI respectively for answering our survey.
The NextClimb web site is currently under construction so please check back early and often for updates. In the meantime please visit our Facebook page as well. Thank You!
What is NextClimb?
NextClimb is a safe, fun, and affordable indoor gym welcoming all for the enjoyment of climbing. We will respond to the interests of our climbers, inspire individual growth, foster community, and give back to causes that climbers support.
Who is behind NextClimb?
We are local climbers, we are new climbers, and we are seasoned climbers. We climb indoors and at the crag. Climbing is our passion. We have the climbing community at the forefront of our minds, and we hope the gym we build will speak for itself rather than the names of the climbers involved.
What is the NextClimb team currently doing?
We're quite busy! We have analyzed the survey results, and we really appreciate those who spent the time thinking about what's important to them. We're planning, meeting, analyzing, discussing, researching. Opening a gym is no small task. It requires dedication and careful execution. We hope to have more updates for you soon.
Where will the gym be?
This process is ongoing. There are important criteria to consider when choosing the location, and as hard as we might try, someone will be disappointed that the gym wasn't built across the street from their house. But please know that we have a solid understanding of our demographics, and this plays an important role in selection of a location.
When will the gym open?
We're as impatient as you are. However, there are some things that shouldn't be rushed, and one of these is creating a business. It's an intense process that is both rewarding and frustrating at the same time. Many things need to be considered. To promise a gym within the next few months would be overly optimistic. To say it's a year out, well, we certainly hope the timeline isn't so. Like many ambitious projects of this nature, only time will reveal the answers... Stay tuned!
